Bourek, Bourekas, Spanakopita, Banitsa call them what you like- Bourekas is a Flaky, Crispy layered dough filled with spinach, Cheese, Potato and more. Originlly made by the Turks and spread by the Ottoman Empire all over the Balkans. Israel though is the best place to taste a wide variety of Boureks, immigrates came from different places and baked their own versions to this heavenly parcels. Served usually with Tahini and Hummus, boiled Eggs and Gherkins available everywhere even in the Israeli parliament.
Who we are? The owner Ran Wilson wanted to introduce his Artisan veggie Bourekas to his family and friends. Next phase was finding a small shop and trade in Londons food markets including the historical Borough market.
